What do you do?

Part 1

- use worksheet 'Lamb to the Slaughter' reading

- Before you read the story, answer question 1 and 2 on the worksheet.

- Now read the story and answer question 8 - 12.

- When you finished reading, answer question 13 and 14.

 

Part 2

- take worksheet 'Lamb to the Slaughter' poetry

- write an acrostic poem about the topic 'perfect murder'.

- send your acrostic poem by mail to your teacher.

In 1979 a TV show was aired called ‘Roald Dahl’s, Tales of the Unexpected’. ‘Lamb to the Slaughter’ appeared in season 1, episode 4. If you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1sBQZfDh0I

There is also another TV version of this story, directed by the famous Alfred Hitchcock for his TV series ‘Alfred Hitchcock Present’s...’. It was aired in 1958. If you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmpY9cpe6g8 . This one is less accurate according to the original story.
