Hello dear blog readers, it's been two weeks since my last blog...did you have to go for rehab for that? Or did you react like Amy Winehouse? ;)
Anyway, what a busy week it was, the 'CultuurMarathon' I mean. Two lovely city trips: one to Amsterdam, the whole city was getting ready for the coronation of Willem-Alexander, and one to Bremen, Germany, where the sun was shining brightly and I had a nice time talking to most of my students. A day filled with laughter.
After that 'CultuurMarathon' week it's time for a break...and as you might noticed in my previous blogs, I could really use one. And I enjoyed every second of it. I went back to Amsterdam for a shopping trip - how I love to keep the Dutch economy going ;) - and I worked on my internship portfolio. Besides working at the office a.k.a. home, I celebrated the coronation of King Willem-Alexander with friends and family in town. This Sunday - May 5th - I will be at Stadspark, Groningen to celebrate Liberation Day. It is said that this will be a sunny day and the music will be good...so that won't be a worse start for a new week.
If I don't see you next week - 6,7,8 May - I wish you all the best at your 'maatschappelijke stage' or some fun during your extra days off. Otherwise I will be seeing you in a few days, teaching my butt off - am I allowed to say that? Yes, I am. ;)
'Till next time!
